Northern Rail
Supported Northern Trains in the due diligence and transfer of the £30m Neville Hill rolling stock depot from EMR ownership; in doing so supporting the contract and legal negotiations with Network Rail and the third-party contracts.
Cross Country
Project recently completed on a strategic review of the three scorecard areas for this business along with an in-depth organisational review of the Cross-Country operation and its commercial business planning processes.
First
Group
Introduced Lean management techniques to the Timetable planning process: over a period of eighteen months this contributed to generating circa £2m in additional income and a 30% reduction in expenditure on rail replacement services.
OLR Mobilisation
The ‘Section 30’ Transport Advisory Team was established by the Government as an Operator of Last Resort should a train passenger franchise fail. Our team led the commercial mobilisation of the flagship £900m East Coast franchise from private to public ownership.
